Book a Free Introductory Session

How do you decide if coaching might be useful to you?

The FAQs attempt to tell you about coaching, but the best way is to experience it - and the easy way to do that is to have a free introductory session.

(If you require a session to focus on a single, one-off event, such as an interview or to prepare for an important meeting - rather than to find out more about coaching - this will be charged at £60/hour. I would recommend a minimum of 45 minutes).

It's a 'Win-Win' offer

I see these free sessions as a wonderful example of a 'win-win' activity whether or not you decide to enter into an on-going coaching relationship with me. For you - some free coaching from which you will almost certainly benefit. For me, one more person 'out there' who has had a positive experience of coaching, and of me as a coach, and is usually willing to recommend me and pass my contact details onto other people.

What happens?
I coach you (on the telephone or face-to-face) for about 30 minutes on the basis of which you will (usually) decide to take some specific action over the next few weeks. We arrange a time for a short (10 minute) check-in session to discuss the results of taking that action. At that point, I ask you if you want to continue with coaching.

If you say yes, we discuss how we will work together, schedule, cost etc.
If you say no, I do not say "Why not?" or try in any way to influence you to continue. I do ask you if you would like to be added to the subscriber list to receive my (also free) email 'Exploring the Edge' coaching articles. I do not use your contact details for any other reason or give them to anyone else.

Book a session
I reserve a number of slots per week for free sessions and you shouldn't have to wait more than a week or two at most.
